University of Bridgeport Shooting Investigations: The University of Bridgeport, CT has been placed in a lockdown following a shooting on Tuesday. Bridgeport Police announced the ongoing police activity at the campus vicinity in X.
Bridgeport EOC Alert: “Preliminary report of shots fired outside of a University of Bridgeport building. All first responders are on scene. University of Bridgeport is on lockdown. No further at this time. “
The community has been urged to check the University of Bridgeport”s official social media pages for more updates. During the incident, everyone on the field for the women soccer games were evacuated and ordered to shelter in place at a secured location or at the Hubbell Gym.
