Olympia Shooting Investigations: The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting in the neighborhood of Olympia in Wellington, Florida on Thursday, October 31, 2024. Authorities responded to Merriweather Way, Wellington, FL for a disturbance report. Police say one person was confirmed deceased and others were injured.
According to PBCSO, a large fight broke out among partygoers around 7:45 P.M. on Thursday. Four victims were located suffering from gunshot injuries, one person was pronounced dead at the scene, and three others were rushed to the hospital for treatment. Sheriff’s Office said an altercation led to a big fight during a house party before the shots rang out.
