The University of Tennessee Department of English released the following statement following the incident; Today we mourn the death of one of our talented students, Wesley Keller, who passed away yesterday. Wesley was a recipient of our Mangam Scholarship and worked as a tutor in the Herbert Writing Center. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and teachers in this difficult time.
Students needing counseling and space to grieve may find it in 1) Student Union Art Gallery (1st floor of Union next to post office) 4pm-6pm Thursday and Friday or 2) Student Counseling Center (2nd floor) Friday 10 am-12 pm.
