Alex Kinch Obituary, Butler PA: The Mar, Butler, and Pittsburgh, PA communities are mourning the unexpected death of a teenager who passed away suddenly this week. Alex Kinch was supposed to graduate from Mars Area High School in 2026.
He was an athletic student at Mars Area High School in Mars, PA. According to reports, Kinch was found suffering from a self-inflicted injury. He was pronounced dead by the EMS. Following the suicide attempt, the Mars Area School District community has been left devastated. Alex was a son, brother, classmate, teammate, and friend. Alex died from an apparent suicide following a battle with depression and mental anxiety.
He was a lover of nature, family, and friends. The school community has requested prayers for the family of Alex, his friends, teammates, and the school community at large. Mars Area School District say counsellors will be available on Tuesday, Wednesday for anyone affected by the incident.
