Brendan Ryan Obituary, Livonia MI: Linden, Livonia, Detriot, and Flint communities are mourning the tragic death of a resident, community member, former coach, brother, employee, and Grand Valley State University graduate who passed away unexpectedly.
Ryan was the Head Men’s Hockey Coach at Saginaw Valley State University and the former Executive Account Manager at Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. The family announced the tragic news on Facebook, Thursday; “To all family and friends of Brendan Ryan, we are saddened to inform the passing of my brother, son of Lynne Standley and Jimmy Ryan, and incredible friend, Brendan. He was loved by everyone in his community, and to say he will be missed is a huge understatement.”
Who Was Brendan Ryan?
Brendan Ryan was a resident of Linden, Michigan, and originally from Livonia, Michigan. He was a graduate of Livonia Churchill High School, Schoolcraft College, and Grand Valley State University. He was a former Corporate Sales Representative at the USA Hockey National Team Development Program.
Brendan, a successful and award-winning college hockey coach, drummer, dancer, and center of the party, spent his life doing what he loved. None of us can deny his ability to befriend anyone he talked to. He created a beautiful, close relationship with all of his family and friends. This has been a hard week for us all. You were the best brother I could ever ask for. We love you, Brendan.
Brendan’s brother, Matt wrote on Facebook, We are coordinating a memorial/celebration of life on a date to be determined. I will be posting a Facebook event once we confirm the details. He was a great Relationship Builder, an exemplary leader, and a Business Development strategist.
Brendan joined Cardinal Staffing in 2024 as a Sales Manager. He will be missed.
In Another Accident in Flint
On October 22, at approximately 9:35 a.m., emergency personnel were summoned to aid at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in Flint. According to police reports, a collision occurred between two vehicles on Woodlawn Park Drive near Brookwood Drive. Authorities closed a portion of the road to clear the collision site of vehicles and debris as a consequence of the incident. Emergency medical services were dispatched to assist the injured, and those who required further medical attention were promptly transported to nearby hospitals. The accident’s specifics are still under investigation.
