Brkti Berhe Toronto woman Murder: An Ottawa resident has been identified as the victim who passed away in a deadly stabbing at Paul Landry Park on Thursday morning. Brkti Berhe died in the assault that happened at Paul Landry Park on Uplands Drive, located between Paul Anka Drive and Bennett Street around 11:25 am.
The Ottawa Police Service has identified the lady who was fatally stabbed at Paul Landry Park on Uplands Drive on Thursday morning. She was identified as Brkti Berhe, 36. Berhe died as a result of her injuries after being stabbed, according to Ottawa Police. According to an Ottawa paramedic spokesperson, two youngsters in the park were taken to the hospital as a precaution but were not hurt.
On October 24, 2024, police are investigating a deadly stabbing at Paul Landry Park on Uplands Drive which may be seen with an empty child’s pram. “A suspect was seen fleeing in a vehicle and was arrested on Highway 417, outside of Ottawa near exit 66,” police stated in a media release. “The suspect is in police custody.” Police describe the suspect as a 36-year-old guy. He has not been identified since charges are pending.
On Thursday afternoon, a stretch of the park, sidewalk, and roadway were blocked by yellow police tape, and many police cruisers were parked nearby. A stroller could be seen behind the police tape.
“It was a very tough scene,” said Det. Chris Benson. “Middle of the day, residential area, many families, little children out and about; it’s a wonderful day. The scene was extremely traumatic for both locals and first responders. The investigation is continuing. There are still a few items that need to be completed, which will take some time.”
