Charlee Tayt Obituary, Talladega Death: An Alabama girl is the latest victim of bullying after family said they woke up to any parent’s worst nightmare on Thursday. Bliss Cook Hubbard and her husband Lance Hubbard and grandmother Renea Hughston are mourning the tragic demise of their beloved daughter Charlee Tayt who sadly passed away from an apparent suicide this morning.

The heartbreaking incident happened on Thursday, October 24, 2024. “This afternoon I come to you to ask you to pray for the town of Lincoln, Alabama – and more so for the family and loved ones dealing with an unimaginable loss. I will not go into any details other than to say this involves a child. Please pray. I lived in Lincoln, and later near the Lincoln area, many years ago. Although it’s been so many years, it seems like only yesterday. It was home once upon a time. That’s why this tears at my heart all the more. I know some will ask for details, but let me assure you that God already know all and details do not need on social media at this time. Please pray for the families and loved ones. Your prayers are so very much appreciated.”

BE KIND CHANT

Heartbroken mother of Tayt, Bliss Cook Hubbard, has urged everyone to “be kind” as no parents would have to bury their child if everyone was kind.

My worst nightmare is now my family’s reality! Our beautiful baby left this earth and met Jesus face to face. I have no words to describe our pain nor will I ever! She was the closest thing to heaven on Earth! My last words to her were good night, I love you so much! There was no doubt she knew just how much she was loved! I promise we see your messages, but we don’t have the strength to answer them all. Thank you for loving our family and loving our girl. Please keep us in your prayers for the days and months to come as we try and figure out how to navigate life without our heart. Always Be Kind.

Lincoln Methodist Church Lincoln, Alabama announced that a gathering for prayers will be held this Sunday for the family. “Lincoln Community, LMC will be coming together this Sunday at 2 PM to pray over our campuses and our students. Please join us if you are able! All are welcome! Meet at the DMS/LHS flagpole at 2 pm.”

You came from the most amazing family who I got the pleasure to know and love deeply at such an early age. Please keep her family in your prayers, for this was an incredible loss. This is a death that is absolutely heartbreaking. For this beautiful, young teen, to be bullied to this point in her life is on some very guilty hands and hearts. What a beautiful soul, gone to soon and all because of mean spirited kids!! I have a daughter her age. I can’t even comprehend how kids can choose, and, single out anyone, to bully them, to the point of no longer having a desire to live. My heart goes out to you Mama. I certainly will be praying for you and your family. Your beautiful girl will not be forgotten.

    1. Agreed! I have a daughter this age and I have hopefully gotten her out of thinking this way! I moved her to a different school and everything! My heart breaks for this momma and for this sweet girl who just wanted to feel loved and to belong!

  2. This is sad and sickening!!
The students who bullied her need to have some accountability!!
She was bullied because of pure jealousy!
    RIP SWEET BABY

  3. Time to make bullies accountable and they need to be punished. If punishment was exercised to the ones responsible then maybe some of this bulling would stop. BULLING IS NOT OK

  4. I’m 60+ and I still remember my bully. Yes, the faculty knows what is going on. They choose to have a “blind eye”. I am SO sorry Charlee. You are GOOD now. Tell Jesus hi for me sweetheart!!

  6. I cannot imagine the heartbreak her parents are feeling..this is just so so sad..Prayers for her family and friends

    1. My thoughts and prayers go out to this young lady’s family and friends.

To the bullies, bullies parents, teachers, and administrators of this young lady:
May you all be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Until the bullies are held accountable this will continue to happen.

  7. This poor child and her family, she was a bright light lost too soon. Lincoln is a beautiful community that will come together and support them in their time of need and honor Charlee.

I hope with all my heart the bullies are found and held accountable for this entirely avoidable loss of life, a long with their parents that failed to raise them properly and duly monitor their actions and behavior. The bullies were failed by their parents, and this beautiful light was failed by those that bullied her.

  8. This is so Heartbreaking to see this happen such a beautiful girl my heart goes out to her family God Please Wrap This Wonderful Family In Your Loving Arms And Comfort them and lead them through this difficult time in their lives All of These Things I Ask In Your Holy Name Amen

  9. I lived in Alabama for almost 20 years. I love the people and it will forever be my home. My son was bullied awful in school there to almost this end. We now live in Michigan, there was one incident here not even sure it needed addressing and the school shut it down the same day. It doesn’t have to happen this way but and the school can lead the response by imposing strict tough punishments. Here it’s a zero tolerance whether they are bullying you during school hours or after if they are school mates. We can fix this problem, no one should have to lose a child not even once for people to take notice. Prayers for the family and any family having to deal with bullying. I know you feel helpless. Such an awful story.

  10. This is a beautiful soul gone way too soon! Praying for the family! The bullies of this baby are murderers they should be held accountable and punished.

    1. God Love and bless this family wrap your arms around them and dull their pain. I know vengeance is yours Lord and you will take care of the Bullies.

  11. Hold the Bullies accountable The teachers accountable who ever else accountable this child didn’t deserve this no one does

  12. My heart goes out to you all. We lost a sweet friend at age 12. My 9 year old son learned the depth of what bullying can do at 9 years old when his friend chose to end the bullying by ending his life. NOTHING to this day has happened to ANY of those rotten kids, parents, faculty, or administration of Bullard High School in Texas. My son is now 17 years old. Forever in our hearts. We made a promise. We will NEVER forget, Luciano Tessaro. Go after every last one of them. Put an end to this pain and hurt. This is NOT ever ok. Hugs and prayers.
