Jack Hankee Obituary, Slatington, PA Death: The middle school assistant principal at Southern Lehigh School District in Slatington, PA has passed away. Jack Hankee tragically died this weekend after an incident. He was the AP of Southern Lehigh Middle School.
The Southern Lehigh School District community announced the demise of the former Dean Of Students at Allentown School District. “Good morning, Southern Lehigh SD Community, It is with great sadness that we report the passed of Southern Lehigh Middle School Assistant Principal Jack Hankee. Mr. Hankee was an extraordinary educator and colleague who held our deepest trust and respect. Together we express our most sincere sympathies and commitment of support to his family. Above all, Jack was a proud and loving husband and father.”
Prayers has been asked for the Southern Lehigh School District community, family, and friends of the beloved man. Southern Lehigh Community football coach, Andy Weaver wrote: “Coach Andy would like to send Thoughts and prayers to the Southern Lehigh Community as the Assistant Middle School Principal Mr. Jack Hankee passed away. Lets keep everybody in the Southern Lehigh Community in your Thoughts.”
Jack Hankee joined Southern Lehigh School District in September 2016. Jack’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Mathematics from Kutztown University, a Masters degree in “Technology for Educators” from DeSales University, and an administrative certification from California University of Pennsylvania.
Jack had 18 years of experience teaching secondary education at various levels, including alternative education through exceptional mathematics classes in grades 9–12. In addition, he had the honour of working with teachers as a PLC facilitator, concentrating on optimal teaching techniques and data analysis. His administrative career began at Louis E. Dieruff High School, where he served as Dean of Students for three years. Furthermore, he previously worked as a Cross-Country and Soccer coach for ten years, giving him unique experience working with the school, students, and community.
