Katherine Heestand Obituary, Nacogdoches TX: A Round Rock, Texas father is mourning the tragic death of his daughter who was found dead last week from suicide. Bill Heestand lost his daughter, Katherine on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from an apparent suicide.

According to the bereaved father, Katherine passed away leaving the whole community devastated. She was loved and will be missed by everyone. Kate was a resident of Nacogdoches, Texas. She died following an unexplainable abdominal pain she had since childhood. Bill released an official family statement following the tragic death;

On Wednesday Katherine took her life. She was in pain in her belly her whole life. No doctor or naturopath could solve it. Her wounds from abandonment as a baby compounded to it and no amount of therapy or psychiatry helped. Family love was full on but it wasn’t enough. Her goodbye notes to friends and family expressed gratitude to all of us for all the love. She expressed that she just couldn’t live with the pain anymore.

We are so proud of the life she lived. Katherine was kind and worked hard. She was on the Dean’s list at college and was her little sister’s best friend. We love her beyond measure and are in total shock.

A comment reads; My heart breaks for you, Victoria, and Jax. I can’t imagine the pain you are experiencing. Katherine was such a beautiful person. I have the fondest memories of her sitting in Poppo’s lap as a little girl making him and the whole room smile. Sending you all so much love.

Katherine Heestand Obituary and Funeral Arrangements will be Released by the Family.
