The injured, at least one of whom has stab wounds to the head, are understood to be receiving treatment at Nenagh Hospital after being taken from the townhouse. A considerable number of armed gardaà were sent to the incident, which occurred just after midday.
Gardaà are dealing with a major incident in Tipperary where at least two persons were stabbed. Locals have been urged to avoid the scene due to the ongoing investigation. No suspect is in custody.
