Saratoga Springs Utah Shooting: Law enforcement agencies say that officers shot a person, and a person was taken into custody. After a pursuit on foot, a person was captured near Harvest Hill Boulevard and Providence Drive in Saratoga Springs. It is not immediately known if the individual shot is the same person brought into custody.
Multiple police agencies were seeking a person after they ran from police Thursday afternoon. Police have not indicated that officers are still seeking anyone. Ann Elise Harrison with the Saratoga Springs Police Department stated gunshots were reported in the area of Redwood Road and Cold Springs Drive.
Harrison said police believe the fleeing person ditched their car, and officers pursued the person on foot.
