Steve Barban Obituary: The Canadian Junior Hockey League is mourning the sudden passing of Navan Grads president/governor, Steve Barban who died unexpectedly. Barban passed away as the Central Canada Hockey League chair. He was pronounced dead on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.
It is with great sadness that the CCHL is announcing the passing of long-term Chairman and Navan Grads owner Steve Barban. During his time with the league, he provided the CCHL with outstanding guidance and leadership. Steve was not only respected in hockey but also amongst his business piers and the community at large.
