UTK Death Investigation: A student of the University of Tennessee Knoxville has tragically taken their own life. The University of Tennessee Police Department and EMS responded to the Stokely Residence Hall for a body found report. According to law enforcement agencies, one person was located unresponsive at the student dormitory.
Law enforcement administered life saving measure, but the individual was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said they died from an apparent suicide and there is no threat to the public. The identity is pending next of kin’s notification.
