UPDATE: Vancouver Police Department says one person has died and two others have been injured following a shooting at the Vancouver Mall. The deadly shooting happened around 7:32 P.M., Law enforcement agencies say two people have been transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. One person was confirmed dead at the scene.
The scene remains active, police say.

Vancouver Mall Shooting Investigations: Multiple law enforcement agencies are responding to a report of a shooting at the Vancouver Mall in Washington on Thursday, October 31, 2024. Authorities were called to the mall at 8700 NE Vancouver Mall Dr, Vancouver, WA for an active shooter report.
The scene has been placed on a mandatory lockdown. A part of the mall has been evacuated following the ongoing incident. Vancouver Police released the following statement following the ongoing incident: “Vancouver Police are responding to a disturbance at the Vancouver Mall. Please avoid this area while the police are investigating. More information will be released as soon as it is available.”
Everyone has been urged to avoid the scene as law enforcement agencies work to evacuate the remaining part of the store. This is a developing story.
