Wentworthville Stabbing Investigations: A man died, and a police inquiry has been opened following a violent suspected stabbing incident at a Wentworthville residence in Western Sydney. A man died in a horrific suspected stabbing attack at his home in Western Sydney.

The man was allegedly stabbed in the neck at around 6.30 a.m. on Thursday at a home on Layton St. in Wentworthville, police said. The man, 64, died on the scene. He has yet to be formally identified. A 60-year-old woman who was also at home was not wounded. A 34-year-old male was apprehended shortly after and sent to the Granville Police Station. It is thought that all three people know each other.
